Brief Description

Packet pickup and race-day registration begin at 7 a.m. at Hadlock Field, located at 271 Park Ave in Portland:


In addition, packet pickup and registration will be available at Peak Performance Multisport, 317 Marginal Way in Portland, as follows:
Friday, June 19, noon to 7 p.m.
Saturday, June 20, 1 to 5 p.m.

 
 

Additional Information

Chip timing will be used. The 5K starts and ends at Hadlock Field and features a fast, walker-friendly course.

** Kids' run is free -- register at www.portlandseadogs.com/roadrace.html **

Entry fee includes a tech t-shirt for the first 1,000 registrants in each 5K, and a ticket coupon for any Portland Sea Dogs home game in 2009.

The overall male and female winners in the 5K will receive a trophy and a pair of season tickets for the remainder of the 2009 season, and will throw out the first pitch prior to the next Sea Dogs home game.

Additional awards go to the top male and female 80-and-older, the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14-and-under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+; and the top three father/daughter and father/son teams.

Proceeds benefit Prostate Cancer research and screenings in Maine.
