Elite Open Prize Purse
Elite Open men and women runners will be competing for a $25,000.00 purse that will be dispersed five deep for each gender. To compete in this division, you must have a qualifying time to enter. Elite Master's Prize Purse
Elite Masters men and women runners will be competing for a $5,000.00 purse that will be dispersed four deep for each gender. To compete in this division, you must have a qualifying time to enter. Top American's Prize Purse
The Top American male and female finishers will be awarded a $2,000.00 cash prize. NOTE: For an athlete to receive this prize, he/she MUST be a citizen of the U.S. with primary residence in the U.S. for at least six months prior to the event and at the time of the race.
Top Ohioan Prize Purse
The Top Ohioan male and female finishers will be awarded a $1,000.00 cash prize. NOTE: For an athlete to receive this prize, he/she MUST be a resident of Ohio for at least six months prior to the event and at the time of the race.
Athlete Goodies
Each registered athlete will receive a quality bag, shoe laces, sweat towel and water bottle at packet pick-up. Each athlete that completes the race will receive a finisher technical shirt, technical hat and finisher medal.
Race Categories
Elite Open / Masters: must qualify for this category.
Age Groups: 11 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60 to 64, 65 to 69, and 70+
Crusiers: Men 200+ lbs and Women 150+ lbs. Cruiser athletes will be weighed at the expo before the race only.
Race Walkers: MUST walk the entire event or they will be disqualified from this division and placed in their respective age group category.
Race Course
Point-to-Point gradual downhill USATF certified course. The race begins at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing in Dublin, Ohio, and the athletes take there journey down Riverside Drive alongsie the majesyic Scioto River into Downtown Columbus completing the event at North Bank Park.
Race Day Registration
There will be NO Race Day Registration, so please register before the event or at Packet Pick-Up. No exceptions will be allowed.
Packet Pickup:
Athletes MUST pick up their goodie bags, bib number and D-Tag timing chip at Fleet Feet Columbus Tuesday, August 25th - Saturday, August 29th. NO Race Day Packet Pickup will be allowed.
Chip Timing
Run Wild Racing will be using the ChronoTrack D-Tag system, which is the disposalable chip that attaches to your running shoe. You will recieve this chip on your bib# when you pick up your goodie bag.
