Purpose- The focus of our race is to raise money for the Lowcountry Autism Foundation, Inc and to provide an opportunity for Special Olympians to have an opportunity to compete in a 5K distance running event. All proceeds above race expenses will go to fund: direct financial, service and advocacy support to individuals and families who face the challenges of living with autism in Beaufort County and the surrounding area.
Awards Categories Half Marathon and 5k Run Top three overall: Individual male & female. Age groups: Top 3 male/female, 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over. Military Awards: Top 5 overall male/female No duplication of awards. Military Division- All active military can compete in this division to determine who is the best! We will award the Top 5 overall male/female, and highlight the fastest branch for bragging rights!
