Brief Description

The inaugural Coolest 24 Hour “Race Against Cancer” will be held Saturday, May 6th to Sunday, May 7th, 2006, in Cool, CA. The event benefits the Auburn Community Cancer Endowment Fund. Enjoy the world famous Olmstead Mountain Bike Loop in the Auburn State Park, an exciting but safe mix of wide fire road (85%) and fun single track (15%).

Additional Information

The Coolest 24 welcomes solo and teams of 2, 3,4 or 5 riders - with divisions for Beginner/Sport, Pro/Expert, Co-ed, Masters (180+ years, 4 person team), High School, Collegiate Teams (5 persons). We also welcome Corporate sponsored teams and cancer fundraising teams of 6-12 people. The corporate/charity division (non-competitive) will last for 10 hours and be held on a 2.5-mile course.

Every entrant will receive a beautiful T-shirt and water bottle. Awards will be presented to the top three finishers or teams in each category. $500, $300, $100 cash will go to the fastest 4-person team and fastest solo 24-hour M&F riders. Race Day Registration is available - add $10 to the late fee published above.
