"Sign In" and "Day Of" registration for the event will be on the south side of the shorter Brown Tower. It will Open at 8:00 a.m. Please Note: No Free T-Shirts will be included for "Day Of" registration participants.
Each participant will start on a 15 second interval. Individual times begin as soon as they pass the start line and end when they exit to the roof of the second tower. Times will be available at the Winners Circle outside the lobby near the Public Safety Day Event.
Water will be offered and available to participants in the stair cases of each tower, (approximately every 7 floors), as well as on the roof of the second tower as each participant concludes their climb.
Climbing with Gear
Those participants who are working for a public safety department and wish to climb the towers in their department issued gear are welcome to do so, however; at their own risk. GUNS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE TOWERS. We encourage every public safety participant to wear their department t-shirts. This is a welcomed sign of department camaraderie for both participants and supporters alike as well as a simple way for all to continue showing encouragement to our hard working Public Safety Members.
Fire Fighters Climbing w/ personal SBCA
They are welcome to wear and use it for the climb. This is AT THEIR OWN RISK. If they want to do the climb on AIR they are also welcome to do so. There will be a bottle changing station in the run between the two towers. Each participant is responsible for supplying their own spare cylinder. We ask that each cylinder be marked with the participants name/department. Each participant may have their own individual to aide them in the change out or we will be happy to help you do so as well.
Public Safety Day
Along with the climb is of course our Public Safety Day. There will be Fire Trucks, Police, K9’s, Search and Rescue, Hazmat Teams, Military, Sports Vendor Reps and many others to show, interact, and explain their roles in safety as well as fitness and health for our community.

Participants will start by heading 14 stories up the shorter Brown Tower, then cross the top floor and go back down the opposite side of the building. They will then cross the parking lot and begin the ascent of the North Stairwell in the Larger Tower #2. Upon reaching the top of the 22nd floor participants will exit onto the roof. Here, there will be time to get a drink of water and enjoy the view. Up to this date this location has been classified "Restricted Access" and only frequented by Fire Personnel. A photo will be taken to document each incredible accomplishment as well as our gratitude for supporting Oxnard Explorer Post 9244. We will then kindly put you in the elevator for a relaxing ride back down to Public Safety Days and your enthusiastic supporters! Times will be given at the Winners Circle.
