Learn from an Olympic Gold Medalist
Learn the latest, most effective methods to develop your swim stroke from Olympic Gold Medal Swimmer, Sheila Taormina. Sheila is the only women to compete in three different sports(swimming, triathlon, and pentathlon), in three different Olympiads. She is also the 2004 Triathlon World Champion and she was on the 2000 and 2004 USA Triathlon Olympic Team. Sheila's techniques and workouts unlock the secrets to swimming performance, building up swimmers and triathletes to breakthrough swim speed.
Sheila is an internationally recognized swimming coach. She can teach you how to swim faster in terms that you can understand. During the clinic, swimmers will work to master the techniques used by the world's fastest swimmers. The clinic will give you a hands-on opportunity to learn the secret techniques used by the world's best athletes to swim fast. You will see slow-motion underwater video of Olympic athletes demonstrating what you need to do to swim correctly and faster.
In Pool Instruction
You will learn the dryland and in-water swimming drills that develop a faster freestyle. Sheila will work one-on-one with you in the pool to develop your underwater pull, build a stronger connection between core muscles and limbs, and refine the proper timing, rhythm, and turnover for faster swimming.
The clinic will be held on the evening March 29 from 6:30 to 8:30pm. On March 30, you will be assigned to a two hour in pool session either between 2 and 4pm or 4:15 to 6:15pm. The clinic size is limited to a small group, so we encourage you to register today. All clinic sessions will be held at locations in Overland Park, Kansas.
