Brief Description

Over the Edge is a unique fundraising event -- and the first of its kind in the Silicon Valley -- allowing colleagues or friends the opportunity to raise money and and "send" yourself or a friend, or a boss or colleague, rappelling "Over the Edge" of a building to raise money and awareness for lung disease programs.

Safety

Every Over the Edge event is set up as an industrial worksite and is compliant with all federal and state OSHA Fall Protection Standards and OSHA Federal and State Laws. Additionally, policies and procedures adhere to the best practices identified by IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) counsel. This counsel is a strict regulatory body that has regimented guidelines and safety protocols that far exceed the OSHA, Workers Compensation and state labor codes.

Additional Information

You have an opportunity to participate in this most unique fundraising event. For a donation of $1,000 or more, either as a single contribution or in total pledges collected, you can rappel down the front side of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Santa Clara. You don't need any special training. Experts in this type of rappelling will conduct the event under very strict safety regulations. Our top fundraisers will receive additional prizes.
