Brief Description

The Epic Man is the inspiring journey of two everymen, Will Thomas and Seth Bradbury, who will travel 207.8 miles in honor of charity and inspiring others to be EPIC; whatever that may mean to them.

Epic Man

Will Thomas and Seth Bradbury will travel 175 miles in 24 hours, from an island in Portland, Maine to the finish line of the Boston Marathon. They will then run an additional 3 miles past the Boston Marathon finish line and continue to Logan Airport where they will fly to London, England and finish their journey by running the London Marathon, bringing their total distance traveled to over 200 miles.

Charity

The first leg of this Epic Adventure will benefit The Sisters' Wish. Join these 2 Epic Men by participating in the first portion of their journey.

Kayaker

By participating in the Kayak portion of the EPIC MAN, and contributing $207.80 (the amount of miles that Seth & Will will be kayaking, biking, and running during the Epic Man Journey,) you are helping to raise money to benefit The Sisters' Wish and grant a number of individuals the chance to experience an "Epic Wish".

Not a Kayaker

Maybe your friend/sister/co-worker/ex-husband etc. is a kayaker and maybe, perhaps, YOUR idea of being EPIC is relaxing with a frosty beverage or managing a toddler with a sippy cup! You can still be part of this adventure by celebrating on board the Casco Bay Cruise line for food and fun while you cheer on your favorite EPIC Kayaker.

Crusier Information

The ferry will sail for approximately 1.5 hours, and be back to Portland Harbor in time to welcome the kayakers back from their EPIC journey. Food and (non-alcoholic) drinks while on the ferry are included in your ticket price. A cash bar will be available. Additional information will be sent to you in a confirmation e-mail once you have completed the registration process.

Kayak Information

The kayak route from Peak’s Island to Portland Harbor is approximately 2.5 miles and is expected to take between 45-75 minutes, depending on the tide. There will be food and drink available to you on Peak’s Island prior to your kayak departure. Celebration

Please join us for a post-kayak celebration at Ri Ra Irish Pub & Restaurant beginning at 12:45PM (72 Commercial Street, Portland, ME.) Enjoy a celebratory toast with kayakers and well-wishers, meet some of the past Sisters’ Wish recipients and hear their EPIC stories. At the conclusion of the Ri Ra celebration, join us as we see the Epic Men off on their bike journey to Portsmouth, NH and eventually Hopkinton, MA.

BE EPIC

Epic Man & The Sisters' Wish gear will be available for purchase as an additional way to support The Sisters' Wish Organization.
