Brief Description

THE 2012 FLOATING ZUCCHINI RACE HAS BEEN CANCELED. PLEASE LOOK FOR THE SIGN UP FOR THE FROZEN ZUCCHINI SNOWSHOE ADVENTURE IN EARLY DECEMBER WHICH WILL BE HELD THE LAST SUNDAY IN JANUARY. The Smart Farm thanks you for all of your support!

REGISTRATION

A 2 PERSON OR 4 PERSON RELAY TEAM MAY REGISTER.

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS

25 RELAY TEAMS

THE COURSE

The course is set on scenic Twin Lakes and will consist of 4 laps in an out and back loop. The 4 person relay team will have each paddler do one lap. The 2 person relay team will have each paddler do 2 alternating laps. In the spirit of having fun, racers will be required to pick up zucchinis and other vegetables along the way before returning to the finish.

THE CAUSE

Smart Farm of Barrington is a local 501c3 non-profit organization (www.smartfarms.org). Our mission is to cultivate a healthy community by providing educational opportunities focused on sustainable gardening techniques, promoting the benefits of sustainable gardening and donating fresh produce to support our neighbors in need.

PACKET PICK UP AT EREHWON LOCATED AT 20505 NORTH RAND RD. KILDEER, IL 60047 SATURDAY,10AM-5PM OR RACE DAY 8:00-8:30AM. THIS IS A NO FRILLS EVENT.
