Brief Description

13TH ANNUAL CHIEF WORUMBO ANDROSCOGGIN RIVER RACE (PART OF THE MOXIE FESTIVAL) Entry fees - $20 per adult; $15 per child 12 & under Entries received by end-of-business Tuesday, July 5, will get a race T-shirt, lunch and free shuttle service. LATE and RACE DAY Fees: after end-of-business Tuesday, July 5: $25 per adult, $15 per child 12 & under. Includes free shuttle service only. T-shirts and lunch for spectators and late registrants will be for sale at the finish.

Course Description

This is a fun race competition of 6 miles with possible class 1 rips and easy class 2 rapids. It begins at the Durham Boat Access on Rte. 136 in Durham and finishes just under the railroad trestle where the Sabattus River joins the Androscoggin on Rt. 196 in Lisbon.

Registration Information

Race day registration starts at 9:00 A.M at the Durham Boat Access on Rt 136. Usually a lot of boats so please leave enough time to ensure getting on the river for the 11:00 A.M. mass start. FMI- call Marnie Coleman, Race Director, at (207) 312-5428, or e-mail worumbo@androscogginlandtrust.org
