Be the envy of your friends and family! Your membership card entitles you to attend members-only group skates, get discounts with our sponsors, and free or reduced admission to Empire-sponsored events.
Club members are entitled to a discount on all non-sale merchandise at the following stores when they show their Empire membership card:

Empire Speed Members
Members of Empire Speed, our speedskating division, are eligible to participate in members-only events such as the Eddy Matzger workshop, Paul Marchese Race Camp, speed skating clinics taught by our resident Pro-Elites, race training program, club races, and our not-to-be-missed trip to the world famous A2A Road Skate.
Empire Speed members also qualify for huge discounts in skating equipment and apparel from our very generous sponsors Verducci Racing, Hyper wheels, BSB Bearings, Limar Helmets and Rudy Project (for more details contact Doug Fessenden at 718.204.0719). Plus, the more active you are as a racer or as a volunteer, the more chance you get to win swag from our sponsors' closets. Whether you're an elite speed skater or a novice, there's always some event you can participate in.
Parties
Members receive free or reduced admission to our parties where we rent a large space and dance and party all night long!
Mailing List
Members who have email can join our exclusive electronic mailing list, which we use to announce upcoming and late-breaking skating events and activities.
Free Stuff!
Many of our sponsors provide us with merchandise which we give away to our members (usually by holding a raffle at an event).
Transpack has been particularly generous, and as a result we are able to give away free backpacks, sunglasses, baseball hats, and safety stickers at our group skates and other events. We are delighted to be affiliated with them and grateful for their generosity.
