Retro Triathlon Series: We were selected by USA Triathlon to host an event in the Midwest Region in an effort to promote an active multisport lifestyle. There is an event in each of the 10 regions.
The Concept: The focus in on participation, not competition. All events will be in a non-competitive atmosphere. The series will expose and continue to educate all participants to USA Triathlon and the exciting world of multisport. We are producing 2 Triathlons on the same day; one for adults and one for kids to make it a Family Friendly environment.
The goal is to provide a low cost event in the community to expose and involve participants of all ages.
Jewish Community Center - is located at 333 South 132nd Street.
Entry Fee & USA Triathlon Membership: Entry fee + each person must have an
Annual Membership ($45) or 1 Day Membership ($12) from USA Triathlon.
Parking - There should be plenty of parking in the front of the building (West side) as you enter the parking lot from 132nd Street.
Triathlon Course - This multi-sport event consists of a swimming in the 50 Meter pool, riding laps around the campus and a trail run on the east side of campus.
Retro Triathlon Distance (Adults and Youth 13+)
•SWIM: 300 yard serpentine swim. We will have buoys in the water.
•BIKE: 6.2 Miles. 10 Laps around the bike course.
•RUN: 2 Miles. 4 Laps around the run course.
There are two Triathlons being held this day. The Kids Triathlon will take place first and then the Retro Triathlon (adults) will follow.
Preliminary Schedule of Events: South side of building near the pool area.
•7:30 8:30 Packet Pickup. Show up early to avoid the congestion.
•8:35 - Race Briefing for all Athletes/Parents
•8:40 Kids Races Start
•9:40 Adult Race Start
Retro Triathlon and Kids Triathlon Transition Area:
South side of building near the pool area.
7:30 - 8:30 Packet Pickup. Place bike and items in Transition Area.
Kids will place there bikes in the transition area first. If there is room, adults can put there bike/items there as well.
If there is not room, Kids will remove there bikes from the area after the race and adult can place there items in the area. We have limited space so it will a race day decision.

Who we are: Race Omaha provides multi-sport events for Women, Adults and Kids in the state of Nebraska. We promote a healthy and active lifestyle for youth and adults one event at a time. We are a 5013 non-profit organization.
