The event is limited to 2,000 riders.

Registration closes Sunday October 27, 2013 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time or when sold out at 2,000.
Entry fees are nonrefundable and entries are nontransferable.
The River Route Has Two Short Distances
The River Route is 7 miles or 15 miles out & back along the San Luis Rey Bike Trail. Almost all of this course is closed to vehicular traffic. Start and Finish are at the Oceanside Pier.
The Beach Route Has Three Distances
Choice of a 25 mile round trip along the coast to Encinitas, a 50 mile round trip past Encinitas down to Del Mar, Sorrento Valley, then back to the coast, or ride the 50 mile course twice and make it into a 100 mile route. All start and finish at the Oceanside Pier. All of the course is on bike lanes with vehicles in the traffic lanes.

Packet Pick-up and Late Registration
Packet pick-up for registered riders and late registration (if numbers are still available) is between noon and 7:00pm on Friday, November 1, 2013 or between 6:00am and 8:00am on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Oceanside Pier in Oceanside, CA
Registered Riders Receive
BTC premiums, well-stocked SAG stops every 15-20 miles, individual course bracelet, very well-marked courses, mobile SAGs with mechanical support, shuttle to Oceanside Pier for DNF, route slips (cue sheets), finishers' medal, lunch at Taste The Coast Finish Party.
Clothing & Souvenirs
Men's and Women's jerseys are available.Only jersey orders placed before September 1, 2013 will be guaranteed ride day availability. T-shirt and hat orders placed before October 1, 2013 will be guaranteed ride day availability. All pre-ordered and paid-for clothing and merchandise must be picked up on Friday or Saturday at the Expo at Oceanside Pier. Clothing not picked up will require an additional $8.00 postage/handling fee. Some clothing will be available for sale on Friday and Saturday.

All registered riders will receive course specific wristbands, logoed water bottle, SAG food and drink on course, finishers' medals and lunch at the finish expo. Jerseys and T-shirts are available online and at the finish.
