It’s a “Fun Ride”
This important fundraising event is not a race, but an opportunity for cyclists of ALL AGES AND ABILITIES to ride along with friends and family and enjoy their day! Course distances are approximate. You can turn back at any time, or continue on at your own pace. When you’re done, head back to the Post Ride Festival and grab a bite to eat. You can also visit some of our local area attractions (museum, planetarium, beach putt-putt). Our main goals are fun and safety for everyone involved.
All Proceeds Benefit Local Citizens
This event is brought to you by the South Brunswick Interchurch Council, a volunteer group of 20 local churches, reaching out in the name of Jesus Christ to help local families in need. Through our Food Pantry and other programs, we provide them with emergency food, shelter, heating fuel, rental and other assistance throughout the year. Please consider donating cans of food to help support our Food Pantry! Collection boxes will be available at the Town Hall.
Shotgun start for the two longer rides (30 and 60 miles) at 9:00 am to take riders over the Ocean Isle Bridge, which will be closed to allow participants to cross the bridge safely at the start of the ride. Rolling start for the two shorter rides (5 and 10 miles) anytime between 9:30-10:30 am.
Safety-green short sleeve shirt with the event logo will be provided for each paid registration.
Children ride for free
Children under the age of 16 can participate in the Fun Ride for free, when accompanied by a paid adult. A “Decoration Station” along the route will provide kids a chance to decorate their bikes, and prizes will be awarded at the Post Ride Festival for the best decorations. Other fun stations will be set-up around the Festival site as well.
