Event update: Pre-registeration closes on Tuesday, April 17. Day-of-registeration is available the day of the event at the "day-of-registration" table at Plaza de Cesar Chavez beginning at 4 p.m.
The 2012 Tenth Annual YWCA Silicon Valley Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is an event that brings together men and women to walk (in high heels) from Plaza de Cesar Chavez through the streets of downtown San Jose to build awareness to the issue of sexual assault in our community and raise funds to assist in supporting the YWCA Silicon Valley Rape Crisis Center.

YWCA Silicon Valley Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Event Schedule:
4:00 - 5:00 p.m.- Day-of-registeration/shoe pick-up/ and offline donation drop off
5:00 p.m - Opening ceremony/Walk begins
Following the walk - Sponsorship Reception at the Fairmont Hotel San Jose (Reception is open for individuals who register for the Walk a Mile "Sponsorship
Level" or FUNDRAISE a minimum of $100.00.)
