Future Stars Soccer is a co-sponsored soccer league by Greenville Recreation and Parks Department and Pitt Greenville Soccer Association. Future Stars Soccer is the only sanctioned North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA) recreational league in Greenville. Future Stars Soccer will deliver quality recreation soccer opportunities in a fun atmosphere and strive to create a positive environment based on mutual respect and good sportsmanship. Future Stars philosophy and goals are to teach young soccer players basic skills and promote the enjoyment of the game in a fun atmosphere. For new participants, a birth certificate is required. Future Stars Soccer league will utilize Bradford Creek Soccer Complex and PGSA SoccerPlex for play. All participants will be required to furnish shin guards for all practices and games. It is also encouraged that each participant bring their own ball and water bottle to practices. All jewelry is strictly prohibited for all practices and games. There will be three player clinics offered for all Future Stars players free of charge and will receive instruction from ECU's Women's Soccer Coach Rob Donnenwirth, and ECU players. Dates, times, and locations are TBA, and will be announced in February as well as listed at www.pgsasoccer.com. League Play: League play will begin Saturday, March 2 at Bradford Creek Soccer Complex (Old Pactolus Rd.). Please Follow the following schedule for Saturday, March 2 (game times may vary): All U4 Boys - 3:00pm-4:00pm All U4 & U5 Girls - 2:00pm-3:00pm All U5 Boys - 4:00pm-5:00pm All U6 Boys - 10:30am-11:30am All U6 Girls - 11:30am-12:30pm All U7 & U8 Girls - 12:30pm-1:30pm All U7 & U8 Boys - 1:30pm-2:30pm All U9 & U10 Girls - 8:30am-9:30am All U9 & U10 Boys - 9:30am - 10:30am All U11 & U12 Boys & Girls - 10:30am-11:30am All U13-U16 Boys & Girls - 11:30am - 12:30pm U4 and U5 will play games on Saturdays (coaches may practice during week) and all other age groups will have a mid-week practice or game, and a game each Saturday. Game times may differ from the first Saturday's practice time. U4-U5 will play 6 games on Saturdays U6-U15 will play 6 games on Saturdays and will have 2 games total during the week. Shin guards are required. No jewelry allowed during practices and games.
