Think you have the most festive house on the block? The City of Gardner invites residents to enter in the Holiday Home Decorating Contest. This is a great way to show off your community pride and light up this special season. It's also a perfect project for the entire family to enjoy. So, pull out your Santa, sled, reindeer, wreath and don't forget the lights! The contest is open to residential single family homes within the Gardner city zip code. Winners will be chosen for the Most Creative Display, Most Twinkling Lights, and Mayor's Choice. Judging will be on December 13 and 14. On the night of judging, please turn on all your holiday lights at 6:00 p.m. and leave them on until 11;00 p.m. Entry fee is $5.00 per house and registration must be received by the end of the day on December 12.
Winners will receive a special yard sign, special recognition on the city website, will be mentioned in the January City newsletter and will be spotlighted in the Gardner News and a small cash prize!
