Veteran film and television actor Darryl Cox is widely considered the region’s foremost instructor of on-camera acting. Students learn the techniques of hitting marks, finding key light, focusing eyeline and other camera-specific mechanics, while maintaining the art of keeping the performance real and internal. Great for stage actors needing to make the necessary adjustments for the camera, and beginning actors exploring what is needed to work on film. Cox has appeared in nearly 60 network television series and feature films and has taught acting on camera for over 20 years in Los Angeles, Dallas and Oklahoma. Students are recorded and evaluated each week in scene and monologue work.
