What's Included

Young performers learn the techniques of hitting marks, finding key light, focusing eye-line and other camera-specific mechanics, while maintaining the art of keeping the performance real and internal. Great for stage actors needing to make the necessary adjustments for the camera, and beginning actors exploring what is needed to work on film. This class is team-tought by two very popular Factory staffers. Chris Oz McIntosh is an award-winning filmmaker and four-time Actor Factory Film Camp counselor. He has a degree in Broadcast & Electronic Media from the University of Oklahoma. His films CRY ME A RIVER and MOVIE MAGIC have earned regional and national recognition and festival praise. He loves young actors, and even wrote and created the short MOVIE MAGIC with Factory young performers in mind. Alexandra Preble is a familiar face at The Actor Factory and one of the most popular counselors at the 2015 Actor Factory Film Camp. She is a junior Theater major at the University of Oklahoma and has taken just about every class and workshop offered at The Factory in the past two years. She has an undying energy and enthusiasm for the craft, a keen eye for scene study, and a gift for teaching. Parents will be provided a link to their child's class work each week, giving them the ability to track their child's progress. *This class is held in Studio 2
