About This Activity

This annual event commemorates the historic swim of Rose Pitonof, World Champion Swimmer of the early 1900s, and the first person ever to successfully swim from East 26th Street, Manhattan, to Steeplechase Pier, Coney Island at the age of 17.Swimmers pass under the Williamsburg, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Verrazano Bridges. The course includes views of downtown Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, and the iconic Parachute Jump en route to the Steeplechase Pier, Coney Island finish line.

Fees

Solo: $850. 2 Person Relay: $1,000. 4 Person Relay: $1,200. Note: Soloists and Relay Teams must provide a $700 fuel reimbursement prior to event.
