SciTech Kids nurtures children's sense of wonder and excitement about STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) + the Arts, encouraging them to explore science's limitless applications through hands-on activities which unlock their imagination. We spark children's innate curiosity and creativity through fun, authentic experiences that change both the way they see themselves and the world. Our program for Ramaz elementary school students will be an extension of SciTech Kids’award winning science program in New York City which has successfully increased science literacy and competency among students and instilled the critical and problem-solving skills they need for the 21st century. Two classes will be offered, one for first and second graders, and another for third and fourthgraders. Each week, students will conduct an experiment or complete a science activity thatfocuses on one STEM theme. The activity will require children to think critically and solve problems by working individually or collaborating with their peers. The program consists of 24 weeks during the school year: 12 weeks in the fall and 12 weeks in the winter/spring term. Our curriculum covers various branches of STEM including biology, chemistry, physics, paleontology, forensics, electronics, ecology, botany, astronomy, and robotics.
