The Running of the Balls! is the Father’s Day event of the year. Join us for a great 5K race, fundraiser and father’s day event benefitting the Sean Kimerling Foundation.
Directions: Take the F train or to Roosevelt Island (check MTA website for service interruptions). You can also take the Tram for a fantastic view, the Tram leaves from 2nd Ave & 60th Street in Manhattan. Parking is extremely limited and there is only one road bridge to the island from Queens so we strongly discourage driving.
The Foundation was established in memory of Sean Kimerling, the Emmy Award-winning anchor of WB 11 sports and pre-game announcer for the Mets. Sean died from testicular cancer on September 9, 2003. He was only 37. SKTCF is the only national TC organization focusing exclusively on the importance of and need for awareness, early diagnosis, and treatment. The foundation has successfully positioned itself as the primary resource and destination for TC awareness information.Read more about us on www.seankimerling.org Time & Date: Saturday June 15th.
