Course Instructions: The USATF-Certified, Boston Qualifying race will comprise 5 loops of the park crossing the 102nd St. transverse, and then finishing through the 72nd Street transverse from the East to West Drive to end near Tavern on the Green.
The USATF-Certified Half Marathon course will feature one full loop of the park, one 5-mile loop crossing at the 102nd Street transverse, and one lower loop crossing at the 72nd Street transverse.
Race Cap & Time Limit: This race is currently capped at 1500 runners. The official time limit is 5 hours and 15 minutes but as a rule of thumb the last thing we unplug is the finish line mat – take your chances over 5:15.Awards: Awards will be given to the top three overall in each gender; age group awards will go to the top three in each 5-year age group for each gender.All runners will receive an awesome medal, a race souvenir, and the usual NYCRUNS post-race meal. Hot Chocolate? Of course!Packet Pickup: TBA closer to the race dateBib Mailing: There will be no race day packet pickup but we offer bib mail option for $10 per bib. You will need to pick up your race souvenir after the race. We do not recommend signing up for this service after February 9th if you cannot check your mail the day before the race or if you are not in the New York Metropolitan area.Cost: The marathon is currently priced at $95. The standard no-refunds, no-deferrals, no-transfers policy applies. $10 gets your bib mailed to your home before the race; you'll still have to pick up any swag on race day.
