Health, fitness, friendship, and positive self-image are just a few of the goals for our Girls Run Club. During our weekly hour together we set goals and discuss the importance of being healthy and active. We begin with a short team meeting to reflect on our past runs and what we want to accomplish on our current run. While out running in Central Park we cheer, encourage, walk, talk and laugh. We run anywhere from a one to three miles, and we do it as a team. We end by stretching, reflecting, and setting new goals for the following week. Grades 2-4 MAXIMUM OF 14 STUDENTS.
