In this class, students will initially be exposed to the basic tools of performing theatre through creative play and theatre games as we actively build an ensemble of young artists. After the groundwork has been laid, participants will work together intensively as they learn lines, practice and rehearse towards a final showcase or performance. Throughout the semester a strong emphasis will be placed on enabling students to cultivate their creative confidence, nurture teamwork and creative support — all while further developing a mastery for finding their own voices. Never performed on stage or afraid you speak too quietly? Not to worry — all levels of experience are encouraged to join!
