Drawing has been the foundation of art for centuries, and the diverse and varied approaches of the practice still inspire aspiring artists today. This course will strengthen the fundamentals of drawing by studying the basic gestures, forms and sturctures of the human figure, and broaden understanding of aesthetic, technical, and historical aspects of art. Students will study original drawings from the National Academy Museum's collection. All levels of students are welcome. The instructor is present Monday and Wednesdays.
