About This Activity

MaleSurvivor 13th International Conference: "A World of Healing" November 15 - 18, 2012 John Jay College of Criminal Justice, New York City -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to the 2012 Male Survivor International Conference, to be held at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. We chose our theme for this year's conference to emphasize that the solutions to the problem of sexual abuse is rooted in our awareness and outreach around the globe. We know that sexual abuse of boys and men occurs in all parts of the world and we also know that we are more effective in our work to treat and combat sexual abuse when we learn from and support one another. Through this conference we hope to provide a welcoming environment in which to learn from one another. As we know from our prior conferences, this conference can be an invaluable resource for all who attend. Please join us at this unique conference where all who care and work to heal the wounds of sexual abuse come together in this joint effort. We are offering seven pre-conference "Institutes" on Thursday November 15 which were carefully selected to offer an important range of day-long trainings and unique experiential courses. In addition, we have fifty-six workshops and five excellent Keynote presentations during the main conference, which will run from Friday, November 15 through Sunday November 18.
