Composition in Watercolor (SSI)
Start: Monday, June 3, 2013
New York , NY 10128
Open to students of all levels, this class will focus on the vital elements of two-dimensional composition. By investigating the examples of past masters, students will be challenged to explore the use of such topics as interval, weight, negative space, and spatial relation to arrive at dynamic compositions. Working from the still life, model, and landscape, students will develop a personal expression with an awareness of the rich tradition of the compositional techniques in the watercolor medium.
