About This Activity

An in-depth look at the forms and structures of the body, as well as methods of using anatomical information to create beautiful and accurate figure drawings from observation and imagination. New topics are introduced in a lecture each week and are explored in drawing from the skeleton, casts, and the live model.  The first quarter covers the fundamental "core forms" of the body: pelvis, torso, and skull and the muscles that unite them.  Second quarter covers the head and shoulders, with a focus on the feautres of the face.  individual instruction is provided.  Open to all levels.  Instructor is present Thursday and Friday of each week.
