Explore traditional and innovative techniques of print media to develop a personal imagery including etching, drypoint, mezzotint, embossment, collagraph, woodcut, linocut and monotype. Water-based inks will be used wherever possible. Experiment with stencil, chine colle, xerography, clay plates and print imagery within the artist book format. Classroom experience will be enhanced with slides, videos, and trips to print exhibitions. Open to all levels.

Notes: No class 11/27. Fee includes one monitored 4-hour print session per week. Requires faculty approval and adequate knowledge to work independently in a print studio. No instruction.
