Fox Negaunee Twilight Run, 5K
Friday, August 23, 2013 Start time: 10:00 p.m. This race is limited to 100 individuals and 50 teams. This is a competitive run. There are no team divisions. Teams can be made up of any combination of men and women. Head lamps are required, major obstacles will be lit. All obstacles must be completed. Prizes: Individual (male/female), $200, $125, $75. Teams (top three overall), $300, $175, $140 Plus medals & Mud Plunge visors.

Saturday, August 24, 2013 Start time: 9:00 a.m. Runners must complete all obstacles or be disqualified from receiving cash prizes and awards. Teams must cross the finish line together, arms locked. Prizes: Top three finishers of each category will receive a medal and cash prize. Individual: $150, $75, $35. Team: $300, $175, $140.
CrossFit 906 Suicide Hill Climb
New this year! Saturday, August 24, 2013 Start time: 10:30a.m. This will be a 200 meter climb to the top of Suicide Hill. Participation is limited to 150 runners. Cash prizes for the top three male and female finishers: $100, $50, $25
Bell Hospital Fun Run, 5K
August 24, 2013 Start time: 11:00 a.m. There is no obstacle requirement. Teams MUST cross the finish line together, arms locked. Prizes: Top three finishers of each category will receive a medal and a "fun" prize.
Participant Start Times
To eliminate long lines and wait times before the race we're implementing the following policy: Twelve racers will be let onto the course every two mintues. Estimated start times can be found at www.gincc.org. Times are assigned as racers sign up (first come, first serve). Participants running individually, but wanting to run with a friend or family member, should SIGN UP TOGETHER, to ensure placement of the same starting time.
Friday Evening Band & Dinner
New this year, we're selling tickets for a croation chicken dinner. These dinners will be available Friday evening from 5:00-8:00pm at the Suicide Ski Bowl. Tickets are required and can be picked up at the Greater Ishpeming Negaunee Chamber of Commerce. Spit cooked on site and includes: Chicken, coleslaw, roll - pop will be availbe for purchase. A live band will perform at the Ski Bowl from 7:30-9:30pm.
Superior Timing will once again be timing the race and using timing chips.
Refund Policy/Information Changes
All team changes and/or individual changes must be made by August 21, by calling the Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Chamber of Commerce, 906-486-1111. NO changes will be allowed on August 22, 23, or 24. No refunds will be issued.
Race awards and cash prizes for all races will be announced and presented on Saturday, August 24 at the Jasper Ridge Brewery, beginning at 4pm.
Towels, goggles, and gloves are all encouraged but not necessary. We will NOT be providing towels after the race. Racers will cross the finish line covered in mud. The Ishpeming Fire Department will be on hand to hose participants off.
A bag check will be available at the clubhouse for $1.
A charge of $3.00 per vehicle will be collected at the entrance of the Suicide Hill Ski Bowl.
The deadline to guarantee a t-shirt and racer bag is August 1. Registrations received after August 1, will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. STRICTLY ENFORCED: NO dogs or bikes allowed!
