Explore the possibilities in sustainable living and help us celebrate the dedication of our UBarU bee yard ~ Fina’s Flowerzzz Apiary * Meet our bees up close and in person. * Enjoy several presentations regarding the ongoing sustainability efforts happening at UBarU including our water catchment, solar arrays. Workshops including fermentation, crafting salves with bee's wax and essential oils +. *Learn about the importance of the dark sky to your health and wellbeing. *Enjoy gazing at the stars during the new-moon at Texas’ newest Dark Sky Park. *Engage in children’s nature/sustainability education activities. *Become a honey connoisseur while tasting a variety of local honey. *Mead tasting (for ages 21+) *Enjoy an early December campfire with s’mores!

About This Organizer

We are a Unitarian Universalist Camp and Retreat Center in the rugged ranch land of the Hill Country near Kerrville, Texas.We are a Unitarian Universalist Camp and Retreat Center located on 142 acres of land in the rugged Texas Hill Country.  We are also a Dark Sky Park as designated by the International Dark Sky Association (IDA.)

Our mission is to provide a welcoming, peaceful place to gather for spiritual, educational, and recreational purposes in harmony with our Unitarian Universalist (www.uua.org) principles and the land.
