USA Cycling (Permit Pending) Rules: All entrants are required to sign the USA Cycling Standard Athletes Release Form. Minors must have a parent or guardian with them when registering to sign the release form. Pro and Cat 1 (Expert) racers must have or purchase an annual license (available at registration). Approved helmets are required at all times when riding a bicycle.
Directions Woodrun Trails: From Troy, NC westward on NC24/27. The entrance is off of NC 24/27 10 miles from the courthouse in Troy. From Albemarle, go 2 miles past Pee Dee River (Lake Tillery) on NC 24/27. Please be patient and understanding while parking your vehicle; it’s worth it.
Awards Ceremony / Race Number Raffles: Medals and cool prizes with 100% pay-out to Pro/Experts and 50% pay-out to Master Cat 1.
Course Description: The course is located on some of the best trails in the region. The terrain is hilly with sustained climbs and high-speed single-track descents. The trail surface varies from hard packed to rocky with some gravel fire roads. One race loop contains the Supertree then Keyauwee trails in a counter-clockwise direction.
Registration: Located in the Staging area at Woodrun Camp. Registration starts at 8:00am and closes 15 minutes prior to each race. $5.00 day of registration fee
Entry Fees: Seniors, Masters $25.00 Juniors $15.00 $5.00 discount for Jr., Beginner and Sport NORBA members (annual license holders). Active.com registration, go to www.active.com for online registration $5.00 day of registration fee
Online Registration will close on March 25. After the 25th all racers will have to register on race day and late fees will apply.
