So, why not take the test this year? Welcome to one of Georgia’s premier off-road endurance races, the Assault on Brushy Mountain Cross Country Mountain Bike Challenge. Featuring two distances of 40 and 80 miles, this is a perfect opportunity for you to expand your boundaries. So start studying…. The test is waiting for you on October 2nd featuring a distinct out and back course, along with a full spectrum of mountain terrain, this course will inspire competitors both young and old.

Race Description

Participants will face a unique challenge of strength and fortitude on the inspiring and sprawling course which is nestled amongst the vistas of Paulding County. The distinct out and back course offers all competitors the opportunity to strategize their efforts. Paulding SORBA’s goal is to provide you a unique and rewarding experience in cross-country competition.

Race Description

The course is linked together through an amazing network of backcountry trails, dirt roads, double track and bike paths that will take you far beyond the typical boundaries of endurance racing. From start to finish, you will be both pampered and pushed to your limit. You will forge mountain climbs while all the time returning to the support and encouragement of our staff, friends and teammates who will be waiting for you at each SAG stop and Homer Leggett Park.

Schedule of Events

**Friday OCTOBER 1st at Stars n Strikes • 4:00PM – 7:00PM: Racer check-in and Carbo Load Meal. • 7:00PM: MANDATORY race brief meeting and safety talk. ** Saturday OCTOBER 2nd • 5:30AM: Staging at Homer Leggett Park • 7:00AM: Start of the 3rd Annual ASSAULT ON BRUSHY MOUNTAIN • 4:00-7:00PM: Post race dinner, awards ceremony and post-race celebration

NO ONSITE REGISTRATION

THERE IS NO ONSITE REGISTRATION. •No Refunds! •Transfer to another person $20 - 30 day prior to event only. •Transfer to another person $50 - within 30 days of the race. •We do not carryover entries to another year. •We are not responsible for missing drop bags.
