Description
6th annual 12 hour mountain bike race at Phil's World. This is a grassroots race on a stellar network of singletrack - all in the shadow of Mesa Verde. The race course twists and turns through juniper trees, intermittent technical spots, and fast descents.
- 100% of race proceeds benefit local non-profits serving the youth in Montezuma County. The beneficiaries for 2012 are Montezuma County Partners, a local, 501(c)3 non-profit, organization that has been mentoring at-risk youth for over 20 years, and Southwest Open School's mountain bike intesive class. Both organizations have been involved with this race since the beginning.
