The Turkey Spoke brings a whole new dimension to your mountain bike experience! You can be one of the first racers to descend the famous Long Branch/ Cat Gap trail. The table top jumps are the BEST in the country! Daniel's Ridge will give you a new respect for an uphill technical climb. Covecreek will offer you one of the best downhill descents in Pisgah National Forest! Rider Beware! The 30 mile length of this race is shorter but not the training needed to finish!
Registration packet pick-up begins at 8am. Early packet pick-up begins Friday from 5pm to 8pm

The Kids race is the most spectator friendly event! Imagine the most enthusiastic kids going for first place around the 1 mile double oval mountain bike track as fast as they can go! All riders win a medal! 1 lap- age (3-5) male and female combined 3 laps- age (6-8) MALE & FEMALE 4 laps- age (9-11) MALE & FEMALE
The short track is similar to a time-trial race. How many laps can you complete against the other rides for a predetermined time on the one mile double oval mountain bike course? Expert/pro- Male and Female (15 minutes) Sport- Male and Female (11 minutes) This event is very fast and spectator friendly. You can watch the entire race from one location!
The Adult/Child Team Race is our most popular event. The concept is simple. The race is a team of two riders consisting of one parent and one child (under age 18). The last rider on the team to cross the finish line will stop the time. The idea is for the parent and child to ride together. The age brackets are assigned by the child's age and gender. Male and Female / age (5-6), (7-9), (10-12), (14-17) There are two courses to choose from NOVICE and INTERMEDIATE.
We will transfer your ticket to a future race.
All preregistered cross country race participants will receive a custom designed T-shirt.
