This popular century bike riding event has sold out before the date off in the first two years. The registration capacity has been increased to 750 riders for 2017 and there a few remaining spots left. Also by registering early you beat the next price increase on July 17th. Contributions for the 2017event will benefit the Aleshire & Holmes Memorial Fund and the Mount Holly Police Department Bicycle Unit. The Aleshire & Holmes Fund was created to honor the memory of two police officers that gave the ultimate sacrifice in responding to a call in Mount Holly. The Fund provides scholarships and youth activity funding in Burlington County. The Bicycle Unit patrols the business area and the neighborhoods of Mount Holly and serves as a deterrent of crime through community policing.
Cyclist will travel on scenic roads in northern Burlington County and beyond. Riders will have options of choosing from a flat family friendly 22 miles to a challenging and hilly 45, 63 and 100 miles’ route. The ride routes are marked, fully SAG supported and riders are assisted by a local motorcycle club. There will be fully stocked rest stops along the way at several local farms where participants can purchase fresh local goods that will be shipped to the start point. The ride will conclude at SpellBound Brewing were participants will be treated to a pint of beer, local pizza, water ice and live entertainment. The participants who register before July 10 will receive an event t-shirt and 100 mile riders will be awarded medals.

Event details and schedule
The event is scheduled for Saturday July 29, 2017. Registration for participants doing the century ride starts at 6:30 AM and roll out will be at 7:00 AM. Participants doing the 62 miles or 40 miles’ route registration begins at 7:30 and 8:00 am and roll out will be at 8:00 and 8:30 am. Participants doing the 22 miles’ route registration starts at 9:00 AM and roll out will be 9:30 AM. All participants should be back to Spellbound by 2:30 PM. Please park in the designated areas. All riders must wear helmets and obey traffic laws at all times. This is a rain or shine event. Hours subject to change depending on weather.
