Jack and Jill Ran Up The Hill (no)

About This Activity

The name of this race a bit misleading since it is run on one of the flattest course in the Triangle with nary a hill in sight. The race starts and finishes at the Cedar Fork Community Center located at 1050 B Town Hall Drive in Morrisville. It is the same course used by the Run with Heart 5K . In its debut last September, the event had 170 registered entrants. Kevin Hill led the field in 16:51 while Sophia Ebihara took the women’s title in 20:19.

Entry Fees

The entry fees for the 5K Run and 5K Walk are $20. After September 1, the fees increase to $25 up to and including race day. The fee for the one-mile is $5 with no late fee.

T-Shirts

All those who register for either the 5K walk or the 5K run will receive a t-shirt – guaranteed if registered by September 1st.

Awards

In the 5K race, awards will be given to the first three males overall, to the first three females overall, and to the first three finishers (both sexes) in the following age groups: 12-under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-over. All those finishing the 5K walk and the mile will receive participation medals.
