Mud, Muck, and Glory....what you will encounter here at Loon Mountain for the Monster Mud Run. There will be a DJ on-site as well as an apres band in the Bunyan Room. Food and beer available for purchase. Later that night join us for the Halloween Monster Bash in the Bunyan Room, 21+. We are back at it again here at Loon Mountain. With a great turnout in year 1 we are expecting to have even more mud, muck, and glory in 2012. We will push you to the limit through our 5k course on Loon's tough terrain. After we beat you up some come have a beer in the Bunyan Room and regroup for the night's Halloween Monster Bash with live music and costume contest! See below for lodging deal at the Mountain Club, walking distance from Halloween Party!! This year participants can sign up in teams of 2 to 5 people. Various and unique prizes will be handed out accordingly. Participants must be 18+ and must sign a waiver at registration. Please note: You will sign up on active.com individually and you will have an option to put a team name. Please put team name down if you are competing in a team of 2 to 5. Thanks to Salomon, Harpoon, and Darn Tough socks for hooking us up with some prizes for the winners! Price: $45 - includes: T Shirt and first beverage of your choice! $55 at the door. MMR 2012 is a time to get crazy in some mud and have some fun with friends, so grab your costumes and your running shoes and get here for a fun filled weekend. The Mountain Club on Loon as part of being the official lodging partner of the Monster Mud Run is offering a $99 club room + tax complete with a $30 food credit at their Black Diamond Restaurant.
