Brief Description

The Indian Mud Run is 5k obstacle course taking place at Lake Park in Coshocton, Ohio. All proceeds go to the annual operational costs of Lake Park. There will be 20 obstacles, beer, music, and is adjacent to historic Roscoe Village. The parking lot and check-in is less than a half mile from US-36, a 4 lane highway. We will have a credit card machine and we will likely be able to operate it like an atm.

Additional Information

All people, ages 14 or older, are welcome join this race and support Lake Park in the process. If you have been to other adventure races, this is probably going to be a far more technical course than what you have experienced. The 3.1 mile course is mostly on a hiking trail named Scarr loop that many locals don't even know about and circumnavigates this rugged Appalachian foothill. We have 20 obstacles planned including mud pit, electric fencing, climbing walls, rope climbing and more. There will be waves every half hour starting at 8 am. Every finisher gets a t-shirt and medal. After you plug in your credit card information there will be a credit card confirmation. Be warned, you will not be registered until you respond "Yes" or "No" to the question asking if you want to sign up for Active Advantage program. In addition to the race there will be live music, beer, food vendors, and there adjacent is historic Roscoe Village. Parking is less than a half mile from US-36, a 4 lane highway so we do not expect the traffic issues other adventure races have experienced. We truly offer one of the best adventure racing events in the greater Ohio area because of rugged course, access to US-36, and local destinations. There will be a children's course available. 7 and under children will race a short 150 yard race. 8-10 will race a 1/2 mile course. 11-13 will race a 1 mile long race. The children's course is completely separate from adult. Cost is not settled upon but it will be around $10 or $20 and they will get medals too.
