Brief Description

Join our crazy, zany event as we raise funds to support our mission. Your efforts will make a big difference in the lives of our children and the homeless families we house. The mission of Exodus Housing encourages independence, empowerment and self-sufficiency for homeless families impacted by domestic violence through permanent housing, self-directed supportive services and community awareness in Pierce and South King counties in Washington.

THE EVENT

Take The PLUNGE Against Domestic Violence is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations and businesses to support our homeless families by jumping, walking, or splashing into the frigid waters of Lake Tapps. Register for the category that best fits you and bragging rights for taking the plunge.

RULES

The event will be held at the Allan Yorke Park in Bonney Lake. Pre-registration pickup and on-site registration opens at 10 a.m.

All plungers must sign a waiver or have a parent signature for plungers 17 and under. Diving headfirst is not permitted.

Wet or dry suits are for chickens!

TIPS

Arrive early! Allow time to park. Everyone will be eager to get in the water. Bring a robe or towel. Plunge as a team ... it's more fun. A warming hut will be on site to warm you before and after the plunge. Leave valuables at home!

Registration Categories

Register for one of the following: Youth Splash, Take the Plunge or Immunity Plunge.

TAKE THE PLUNGE

Collect or donate $50 which includes an event t-shirt that gives you bragging rights that you took the PLUNGE. Plungers may jump off the dock or wade into the water at the plunge zone.

IMMUNITY PLUNGE

Donate $75. This is designed for those who want immunity from taking the Plunge or dipping their toe in the water. These participants receive a t-shirt and an immunity button. Your button staves off any challengers who are taunting you to plunge.

YOUTH SPLASH

The fee for Youth Splash is $25.
