$950 by July1st, $1,050 by October 1st; $1,150 by December 1st; $1,250 by January 1st; $1,450 after January 1st

Brief Description

Come spend five and a half days training on the Hawaii Ironman World Championship course in beautiful Kona, while attending training, racing and nutrition seminars.

Camp Costs

Training, seminars and sag support are included in the cost of the camp. Hotel, Airfare, Meals and Transportation are not included in the camp package.

Refund Policy

Your payment minus $250 is refundable for withdrawals on before July 1st. For withdrawals between July 1st - October 1st, 50% of your camp payment is refundable. After October 1st, 2009, there are no refunds.

USAT Membership

This camp will be USAT sanctioned and a USAT membership will be required. Each participant will be required to show current USAT annual membership or purchase a one day membership ($10) at the athlete check in on January 24th.

Athlete Fitness

This camp is designed to meet the needs of the beginner to the experienced triathlete. The distance you go each day is your decision. These are the distances that will be offered: Swims between 1,000 meters—2.4 miles. Rides between 10 – 112 miles. Runs between 3 - 26 miles. The minimum amount of distance you should be able to do for each sport in order to attend the camp are as follows: Swim – 1500 meters; Bike – 10 miles; Run – 3 miles.

Additional Information

The camp is an excellent opportunity for triathletes who want to build a strong base for the 2010 season. This camp is designed for athletes of all abilities – from the beginner wanting to have an athletic vacation to the serious triathlete looking for some hard core training.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
