Description

Learn the basic skills of ice-skating. The Moorhead Parks and Recreation program is a registered member and teaches the U.S. Figure Skating Skate with US program. Skate with US is the Park and Recreation Department's most popular winter program and the basis for the annual event, the Moorhead Ice Show. Classes are held in the Moorhead Sports Center.

In Basic 5 & 6 skaters will learn backward edges, backward crossovers, hockey stops and one-foot spins, as well as t-stops, spirals, lunges and bunny hops.
