Skate Lessons - Basic 5 & 6

About This Activity

Learn the basic skills of ice-skating. The Moorhead Parks and Recreation program is a registered member and teaches the U.S. Figure Skating "Skate with U.S." program. "Skate with U.S." is the Park and Recreation Department's most popular winter program and the basis for the annual event, the Moorhead Ice Show. Classes are held in the Moorhead Sports Center. NO CLASS ON FEB 9TH, MAKEUP WILL BE FEB 10TH, WITH TIMES TO BE ANNOUNCED.

In Basic 5 & 6 skaters will learn backward edges, backward crossovers, hockey stops and one-foot spins, as well as t-stops, spirals, lunges and bunny hops.
