"Josh's Jog" is being held in memory of Josh Rominger, who passed away on April 10, 2013, after battling with cancer for approximately one and a half years. This "jog" is fit for EVERYONE! At 9:00 am, those who would like to compete in the "true and competitive" 5k race will begin. Following the racers, at approximately 9:05 am, the rest of the participants will begin. Feel free to walk, jog, run, or even bring your friendly dog to walk alongside you.
Pick Up Information
Pick up for Race Number and T-shirt will be Friday, May 31st from 5 to 7 pm in Davie High School cafeteria in Mocksville, NC. If you are a DHS student or teacher, you can pick up your Race Number and T-shirt during all five lunches on Friday, May 31st. If you are unable to pick up Race Number and T-shirt on Friday, please pick up 7:30-8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 1st (Race Day) in Rich Park!
Registration fee includes t-shirt! You must register by May 18th to be guaranteed a t-shirt!!! If you would like to order extra t-shirts, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. They are $10 a piece.
Kids 5 and under are free - they do not need to be registered! (If they still want a t-shirt, email email@example.com. T-shirts are $10 a piece.) Kids 6-12 can be registered at a discounted price of $15. (Still includes t-shirt)
Competitive Race vs. Fun Run/Doggie Jog
"Competitive Race" means you will begin at exactly 9 am and you are eligible to win Josh's Jog! These participants will be timed. "Fun Run/Doggie Jog" is for those participants who would rather jog or walk, or who would like to bring their dog along! These participants will begin after the competitive racers and will not be timed.
