Courses: Cross country 5K course (Do It in the Bush course) through the woods and on the trails of Medal of Honor Park. Fun Run is approximately 1 Mile and will stay on the sidewalks of the park.

Registration: Register by mail (entries should be postmarked by October 7), in person at McCoy Outdoor or Run-N-Tri in Mobile or Running Wild in Fairhope until noon on October 11), or online (Active.com) until midnight October 12.
Race day registration: Cottage Hill Park/Medal of Honor Park from 6:30-7:45 A.M.
Awards: 5K - Top male and female Overall, Masters, Grandmasters, Senior Grandmasters, and Walkers. Top three male and female in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75-99.
Run Fur Fun ? Finishers will receive treats and ribbons.
Pet Contestants: Dogs are welcome in the Run Fur Fun, but they must have their owners on a lease. Owners are responsible for their pets and pet products.
< Shirts: To guarantee a shirt on race day, you must submit your application by October 7.
Post-Race Party: Food and beverages provided after the race
If the weather is unseasonably warm or cold, use the customary racing precautions with which you should be familiar and take advantage of the water along the course. Stop running/walking and seek help if you stop sweating and feel nauseous or dizzy. If you see a fellow runner/walker who appears to be in trouble, please stop and help if you can.
