Exceptionally Aware: Disability Awareness and Superheroes for Autism 5k

About This Activity

Exceptionally Aware is a collaborative event put on as a Capstone Project by Mississippi State Univeristy students Anne Claire Craige, Kaitlyn Salter, and Molly Jobe. The even includes a disability awareness program followed by a Superheroes for Autism 5k and Fun Run. The goal of the program is to raise disability awareness on the Mississippi State Univeristy campus as well as in the Starkville Community. Furthermore, the Superheroes for Autism 5k will raise awareness and funds to support Jigsaw MSU and Camp JIgsaw organizations that reach out to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

5 p.m. Disability Awareness Program in Colvard Student Union and Race Registrant Sign In

5:45 p.m. Last resgistrant sign in and line up at race start

6:00 p.m. Race begins in front of Colvard Student Union

7:00 Race end, thank you celebration held in front of Colvard Student Union
