The Green Beret Challenge is a 10-12 kilometer race and known as the "thinking" man's race. Our course is designed to test your strength, endurance and determination through a series of "events" as you push, pull or carry your team to the finish! Do you have what it takes?
The Green Beret Challenge was developed by former US Army Special Forces Operators, Mark Ballas and Mykel Hawke. Their vision stems from experiences resulting from the hard work and dedication necessary to become a Special Forces Green Beret
The team categories are 4 person advanced athletes, 4 person intermediate athletes and 4 person amateur athletes. Each team can be all male, co-ed or all female.
Awards for the top finishing teams in each category. Each winning team from each of the three categories will be positioned to compete for the 2013 National Green Beret Challenge.
We recommend signing up at your local Crossfit gym. Crossfit style training is specifically geared towards developing your core strength to help with your overall endurance and fitness.
The average entry fee ranges between $110 - $150. Your entry fee not only provides you the opportunity to participate in the event, but you will receive the official Green Beret Challenge T-shirt, unique prize for race completion and free entry into the GBC post party. You also get 1 beer on the house upon successful completion of the GBC!

We are proud supporters of the Green Beret Foundation.
