Description

Event Details:

The Green Beret Challenge is a 10-12 kilometer race and known as the "thinking" persons race. Our course is designed to test your strength, endurance and determination through a series of "events" as you push, pull or carry your team to the finish! Do you have what it takes?

The Green Beret Challenge was developed by former US Army Special Forces Operators. Their vision stems from experiences resulting from the hard work and dedication necessary to become a Special Forces Green Beret

The team categories are 2 person or 4 person teams. Each team can be all male, co-ed or all female.

Awards for the top finishing teams in both categories. Each winning team from each of the three categories will be positioned to compete for the 2013 National Green Beret Challenge.

We recommend signing up at your local Crossfit gym. Crossfit style training is specifically geared towards developing your core strength to help with your overall endurance and fitness.

The average entry fee ranges between $100 - $125. Your entry fee not only provides you the opportunity to participate in the event, but you will receive the official Green Beret Challenge T-shirt, unique prize for race completion and free entry into the GBC post party. You also get 1 beer on the house upon successful completion of the GBC!

Please note that the name you enter on this registration page needs to match the name on your ID on event day. Military ID card holds must present valid ID at race registration to validate your discount.

We are proud supporters of the Green Beret Foundation. The GBF provides unconventional resources to facilitate the special needs of our wounded, ill and injured and imparts unique support to the Special Forces community in order to strengthen readiness and uphold Green Beret traditions and values. www.greenberetfoundation.org

Event schedule and times

**Wave start times will be emailed to you prior to the event.

**We are running this event in teams of 2 or 4. Don't have a team? No problem, just sign up as an individual and join an existing team, or create your own and other individuals will join your team (great opportunity to meet new people accepting this challenge!).

Mob Events

Have you raced through fire, crawled under barbed wire, and sloshed through mud pits with your friends? What are you waiting for? It’s probably the most fun you’ll ever have at a race. Throw on a costume, grab a beer, and get downright dirty when you join the Mob.
