Monte Vista Horsemanship Camp provides an amazing opportunity for boys and girls to spend a week riding horses, making friends, and experiencing beautiful natural surroundings at the campus of Monte Vista Christian School. Located in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains on the Monterey Bay, we offer structured riding lessons in the morning and afternoon for beginners through advanced riders looking to prepare for competition. Trail rides, mounted games and grooming lessons round out the campers' Equestrian education for the week, and they will demonstrate their new skills for friends and family members at our Camp Horse Show on Saturday. Every afternoon, the campers have an opportunity to swim at the school pool and enjoy the hot tub before showering and then it's off to dinner! Overnight campers stay in our comfortable cabins and will play games and eat s'mores around the nightly campfires. Our meals are provided by Epicurean Cafe and the food is fabulous! We offer full week residential camp, day camp from 8:30-4:30, and half day camp sessions from 8:30-12:00. Sign up by May 1 to receive the early bird discount!
